가톨릭대 철학과 교수이다. 에얼랑엔-뉘른베르크 대학에서 수학하고(철학박사. 1999), 애리조나 주립대 철학과 방문교수(2006-2007)로 있었다.대표 연구출판물로 Oikeiosis: Stoische Ethik in naturphilosophischer Perspektiv(Verlag Karl Allber Freiburg, 2002),  단독 번역서로 플라톤의 『소피스트』(아카넷, 2019), 공동 번역서로 아리스토텔레스의 『니코마코스 윤리학』(길, 2011)이 있다.

He is a professor of philosophy at Catholic University. He studied at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (Doctor of Philosophy, 1999) and was a visiting professor in the Department of Philosophy at Arizona State University (2006-2007). Representative research publications include Oikeiosis: Stoische Ethik in naturphilosophischer Perspektiv (Verlag Karl Allber Freiburg, 2002), solo The translation includes Plato's 『The Sophist』 (Arcanet, 2019), and the joint translation of Aristotle's 『Nicomachean Ethics』 (Gil, 2011).

이창희 교수는 교육학과 독서교육 전공 및 교육대학원 독서교육 전공 교수이다. 고려대학교 국어교육과에서 학사, 석사 학위를 취득하고, 미국 로드아일랜드 주립 대학교(University of Rhode Island)에서 문해력 교육 전공으로  '온라인 환경에서의 탐구 기반 독해 활동에서 협력적 상호작용의 가치'를 주제로 박사 학위를 취득하였다. 주로 온라인/디지털 읽기, 디지털 리터러시, AI 리터러시 등의 관심사를 갖고 연구를 수행 중이며, 독서교육, 문해력 교육 관련 분야에서 국내외 학술 활동을 활발하게 수행 중이다.

구약 성경의 역사서에 대해 본문 비평과 원문 분석 중심의 연구를 하고 있다. 2014년 1월 로마 성서대학에서 "L'aspetto fedele di Davide in 2Sam 16,5,13"라는 논문으로 성서학 석사(S.S.L)를 취득하였으며, 2023년 8월 "사울과 사울 가족의 죽음을 통해 본 다윗 왕위의 정당성 연구: 1사무 31장과 2사무 1장, 4장의 본문 분석을 중심으로"라는 논문으로 박사 학위(Th.D)를 받았다. 가톨릭대학교 성신교정 신학과에서 "구약성경 입문"과 "구약성서와 역사"를 강의하고 있다. 복음적 가치에 뿌리를 둔 교육적 도움을 주기 위해 겸임으로써 학부대학에서도 교양 과목 강의를 하고 있다. 2024년 1학기, '삶의 고통과 그 의미에 대하여'라는 교양 중핵 과목을 개설하였다. 

가톨릭 교회의 사제로서 가톨릭대학교의 시대적 역할을 고민하며, 복음의 정신을 교육 현장에서 현실화하기 위해 노력하고 있다. 

My research focuses on the historical books of the Old Testament, with particular emphasis on textual criticism and literary analysis. I received a Licentiate in Biblical Studies (S.S.L.) from the Pontificium Institutum Biblicum in January 2014, with a thesis entitled “L’aspetto fedele di Davide in 2Sam 16,5–13.” In 2023, I earned a Doctorate in Theology (Th.D.) from the Catholic University of Korea, with a dissertation titled “A Study of the Legitimacy of David’s Throne through the Narrative about the Death of Saul and Saul’s Family: Focusing on the Analysis of 1 Samuel 31; 2 Samuel 1; and 2 Samuel 4.”

I currently teach “Introduction to the Old Testament” and “The Old Testament and the History of Israel” in the Department of Theology at the Catholic University of Korea (Songsin Campus). In the first semester of 2024, I am also offering a cultural course titled “On Suffering and the Meaning of Life.”(Songsim Campus)

As a priest of the Catholic Church, I reflect deeply on the contemporary mission of Catholic universities and strive to embody and promote the spirit of the Gospel within the field of education.

이화여자대학교 특수교육과를 졸업하고 미국 캔사스 대학교(University of Kansas)에서 특수교육학 전공으로 석사 및 박사 학위를 취득하였다. 현재 가톨릭대학교 특수교육과에서 중등특수교육, 전환교육 관련 과목을 지도하고 있다. 관심 있는 연구주제는 장애학생의 전환교육과 서비스(transition education and services), 지적장애학생 교육과 지원, 중증장애학생 교육과 지원, 중등특수교육의 증거기반실제 및 성과, 교사재교육(professional development)이다. 대표 저서로는 『전환교육의 이해와 적용』(공저), 『진로와 직업교육론』(공저), 『지적장애인 교육: 학교급별 교수전략』(공저)가 있다. 특수교사의 전환교육 전문성 증진을 위해 『일단전환』 온라인 교원연수 모듈 프로그램을 개발하여 보급하고 있다(한국연구재단 신진연구 지원사업). 현재 한국지적장애교육학회, 한국증거기반현장교육학회 이사로 봉사하고 있다.

한국외국어대학교 통번역대학원에서 석사, 박사학위를 받았다. 가톨릭대학교 중어중문학과를 졸업하였으며, 주중한국대사관, 한국문학번역원에서 중국어 전문가로 근무한 바 있다. 전문 통번역사로서의 경험을 바탕으로 통번역학 연구를 이어나가고 있다. 특히 '번역가의 언어 배경에 따른 번역방법의 차이 검증 연구-한중문학번역의 감정표현을 중심으로'라는 제목의 박사논문으로 학위를 취득한 이후 문학번역, 번역방법, 중국어번역교육, 코퍼스기반의 연구를 하고 있다.  현재 중국언어문화학과에서 중국어 어학 관련 수업을 하며, 일반대학원에서 국제중국어교육 전공 석사생과 박사생을 지도하고 있다. 

I earned my master's and doctoral degrees from the Graduate School of Translation and Interpretation at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. I graduated from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at The Catholic University of Korea, and I have previously worked as a Chinese language specialist at the Embassy of the Republid of Korea in China and the Literature Translation Institute of Korea. Building on my experience as a professional interpreter and translator, I am continuing my research in translation studies. Specifically, since obtaining my doctoral degree with a dissertation titled "A Study on the Differences in Translation Methods Affected by Translators' Linguistic Background: Focused on emotional expressions in Korean into Chinese literature translation," I have been conducting research in literary translation, translation methodologies, Chinese translation education, and corpus-based studies. Currently, I am teaching language-related courses in the Department of Chinese Language and Culture at Catholic University of Korea and supervising master's and doctoral students majoring in International Chinese Language Education at the Graduate School.
