성심산학협력단

나노입자 합성과 반도체 공정기술을 활용하여 의료용 임플란트 및 생체모사체 제조 플랫폼 개발과 이차전지 소재 개발 연구를 수행하는 마이크로/나노 시스템 연구실(MiNs Lab)을 운영하고 있음. 
여러 연구 기관 및 기업들과 활발한 공동연구를 수행하고 있으며 현재까지 총 40여편의 논문을 SCI급 국제학술지에 발표함. 
현재 한국 생체재료학회 신진연구자위원회 활동 중임.

We are operating a micro/nano system laboratory (MiNs Lab) that develops biomedical implant and spheroid fabrication platforms and secondary battery material using nanoparticle synthesis and semiconductor processing technology.
We are actively conducting joint research with various research institutes and companies. 40 articles have been published in SCI-level international research journals.
Currently serving on the New Researcher Committee of the Korean Society of Biomaterials.

강인남 교수는 한국과학기술원에서 화학을 전공하고 1997년에 박사학위를 취득했다. 졸업후 태광산업중앙연구소에 합류하여 섬유용 고분자 연구를 진행하였으며(1997-1999), 삼성종합기술원으로 옮겨서 organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs)와 organic field-effect transistors (OFETs)에 적용 가능한 유기반도체소재에 대한 연구를 진행하였다. 그리고 2005년에 가톨릭대학교로 이직하여 현재 화학과 정교수로 있다. 그의 주요 연구 관심 분야는 유기광전자소자에 적용 가능한 새로운 유기반도체 소재를 설계하고 합성하는 것으로, 현재 유기태양전지용 유기반도체소재 개발에 집중하고 있다.

Professor Kang In-Nam majored in chemistry at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), earning a doctorate degree in 1997. Afterwards, he joined the Taekwang Industrial Central Research Institute and conducted research on polymer fibers (1997-1999) before moving to Samsung. Subsequently, at the Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology (SAIT), he studied the synthesis of organic semiconducting materials for organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) and organic field-effect transistors (OFETs). He then moved to The Catholic University of Korea in 2005, where he is currently a full professor in the Department of Chemistry. His main research interest is the design and synthesis of new organic semiconducting materials for various organic optoelectronic devices. At present, his research is focused on the development of organic semiconducting materials for organic solar cells.

현재 가톨릭대학교 첨단학과 클러스터 바이오메디컬소프트웨어학과 조교수로 재직 중이며 인공지능학과/데이터사이언스학과 JA교수를 역임하고 있다. 연구관심분야로는 의료 초음파 기반의 새로운 생체융합영상기술이며, 최근 인공지능을 포함한 다양한 의료영상기술도 개발하고 있다. 2019년 서강대학교 전자공학과에서 의료영상시스템 분야로 박사학위를 받았으며, 이후 미국 시애틀에 위치한 워싱턴대학교(University of Washington) 의공학과(Dept. of Bioengineering)에서 Postdoctoral Fellow로 근무하였다. 

I am currently an assistant professor in the Department of Biomedical Software Engineering and also a JA professor in the Department of Artificial Intelligence/Data Science. The research interest is new hybrid imaging modalities based on medical ultrasound (US), and diverse medical imaging techniques using artificial intelligence are also being studied. In 2019, I received PhD degree for medical US imaging systems at the Department of Electronic Engineering in Sogang University, Korea and later worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Bioengineering in the University of Washington, Seattle, USA.
