조용연 교수는 가톨릭대학교 약학대학 약품생화학연구실 교수이며, 조절세포사 제어·물질연구소 소장이며, 현재 약학대학 학장이다. 충남대학교 생명과학대학 생물학과에서 학사, 석사학위를 취득하고, 일본 동북대학교에서 박사학위를 받았다. 한국생명공학연구원 발생공학연구실에서의 연구원, 식품의약품안전처의 국립독성연구소 일반독성과에서의 보건연구사를 역임하였다. 미국 미네소타대학 홈멜연구소에서 박사후연수과정 연구원 및 연구조교수를 역임하였고, 2011년부터 가톨릭대학교 약학대학에서 암에 대한 단백질 안정성 조절 연구와 후학을 양성하고 있다. 박사 후 2024년 2월 현재까지 163편의 논문을 국제 저명 저널에 발표하였고, 논문의 총 인용지수가 10,000회 이상을 기록하고, 총 IF가 1,000 점을 상회하는 국제적으로 높은 인지도를 가진 연구자이다.

Professor Yong-Yeon Cho  is a faculty member of the Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Biochemistry at the College of Pharmacy and The Catholic University of Korea, Executive director of the Regulated Cell Death (RCD) Control·Materials Research Institute, and currently serves as the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, The Catholic University of Korea. He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees from the Department of Biology, College of Life Science, Chungnam National University, and received his Ph. D. from Tohoku University in Japan. He has worked as a researcher at the Developmental Engineering Laboratory of the KRIBB, and a government researcher in the KFDA. Dr. Cho held postdoctoral and Research Assistant Professor positions at the Hormel Institute, University of Minnesota, USA. Since 2011, he has been at the Catholic University College of Pharmacy, conducting research on protein stability regulation in cancer and mentoring the next generation of scientists. As of February 2024, he has published 163 papers in internationally renowned journals, with a total citation count exceeding 10,000 and a total Impact Factor (IF) surpassing 1,000, making him a researcher of international renown.

섬세하면서도 유려한 선율과 폭넓은 해석으로 호평받고 있는 바이올리니스트 조유리는 예원학교, 서울예술고등학교, 서울대학교 음악대학을 졸업한 후 , 독일 뒤셀도르프 국립음대에서 석사 디플롬을 취득하고, 독일 로스톡 국립음대에서 최고연주자과정(Konzert-Examen)을 우수한 성적으로 졸업하였다. 어린시절 바이올린을 시작한지 1년 만에 예술의 전당 콘서트홀에서 서울 심포니 오케스트라와 모차르트 바이올린 협주곡을 협연하여 탁월한 음악적 재능을 선보였고, 다수의 연주를 통해 " 좋은 톤을 가진 바이올리니스트 "라는 평을 들었다. Sofia National Academy Orchestra, Poland National Wieniawski Philhamonic Orchestra, Czech Praque Symphony Orchestra 와 협연하였고, 루마니아 "Black sea Music Festival"과 "Mozart Festival"에 초청되어 연주하였다.예술의 전당 주최 대한민국 실내악 작곡제전을 비롯해 청소년을 위한 해설이 있는 음악회에도 초청되어 연주하였다. 이화여자대학교 겸임교수, 중앙대 및 동 대학원, 성신여대, 단국대, 가천대, 협성대 강사와 메트로필하모닉 오케스트라, 카톨릭 심포니 오케스트라 악장, 서울 심포니 부악장을 역임하고 현재 코리아 필하모니 오케스트라 악장, 클랑 트리오, 앙상블 가우디움 리더로 활동 중이다.

Violinist Youree Cho, acclaimed for her delicate yet flowing melodies and broad interpretations, graduated from Yewon School, Seoul Arts High School, and Seoul National University College of Music. She then earned her Master's Diploma from the Düsseldorf State University of Music in Germany and graduated with top honors from the Rostock State University of Music in Germany with a Konzert-Examen (Highest Artist Diploma). Through numerous performances, she has been praised as a "violinist with a beautiful tone." She has collaborated with the Sofia National Academy Orchestra, Poland National Wieniawski Philharmonic Orchestra, and Czech Prague Symphony Orchestra. She has also been invited to perform at the Romanian "Black Sea Music Festival" and "Mozart Festival." Additionally, she has been invited to perform at the Korea Chamber Orchestra Composition Festival hosted by the Seoul Arts Center. She has served as an adjunct professor at Ewha Womans University, a lecturer at Chung-Ang University and its graduate school, Sungshin Women's University, Dankook University, Gachon University, and Hyupsung University. She has also held positions as the concertmaster of the Metro Philharmonic Orchestra and Catholic Symphony Orchestra. Currently, she serves as the concertmaster of the Korea Philharmonic Orchestra and is active as the leader of the Klang Trio and Ensemble Gaudium.

박경리의 중단편 소설 연구로 석사학위를 받았으며, 박경리의 대하소설 '토지' 연구로 박사학위를 받았다.  중단편 소설에 나타난 죽음 모티프에 대하여 석사과정 동안 공부하였으며, 대하소설에 나타난 생명사상에 대하여 박사과정 동안 공부하였다. 한국연구재단 지원을 받아 박경리의 '토지' 연구 관련 프로젝트를 진행하였고, 만화 '토지'를 각색하기도 하였다. 시민을 위한 강좌 프로그램에 참여하여 박경리의 작품에 대한 대중강연을 진행하기도 한다. 창의성 및 글쓰기 역량 향상 관련 교재를 여러 차례 공저로 출간하였고, 박경리 관련 연구 업적을 묶어 책을 펴내기도 하였다.   

I earned my master's degree for the study of short stories written by Park Kyong-ni, and my doctoral degree for the study of Park Kyong-ni's full-length novel Land(Toji). When I received my master's degree, I studied death in Park's short stories, and when I received my doctorate, I studied ideas related to life in long novels. With the support of the Korea Research Foundation, I worked on projects related to Land(Toji) and even adapted the cartoon Land(Toji). I participated in lecture programs for citizens and gave public lectures on Park Kyong-ni's work. I also published several textbooks on improving creativity and writing skills as a co-author, and I published books on Park Kyong-ni's research achievements.

카이스트 물리학과에서 학·석·박사 학위를 받았다. 고등과학원 연구원, 핀란드 알토대학교 박사후연구원, 포스텍 연구교수, 아시아태평양이론물리센터 그룹장을 거친 후 2020년부터 가톨릭대학교 물리학과 교수로 재직 중이다. 통계물리학과 복잡계 연구의 다양한 주제들, 특히 자기조직화임계성(SOC), 네트워크 과학, 시계열분석, 사회물리학 등에 관심을 갖고 연구하고 있다. 미국, 일본, 핀란드, 헝가리 등의 연구자들과 활발히 국제공동연구를 하고 있으며 복잡계 분야의 주요 학회들에서 프로그램 커미티 멤버로 꾸준히 활동하고 있다. Physical Review Letters, Physical Review X, Nature Human Behaviour 등 영향력 있는 저널에 논문을 발표했으며 2018년에는 Bursty Human Dynamics라는 책을 공저하여 Springer에서 출판했다.

I received my PhD in physics department of KAIST. Since then I worked for KIAS (2006-2010), Aalto University (2010-2014), POSTECH (2014-2017), and APCTP (2017-2020) before joining The Catholic University of Korea in 2020. My research interests include various topics in statistical physics and complex systems, such as self-organized criticality, network science, time series analysis, and social physics. I have internationally collaborated with researchers in the USA, Japan, Finland, and Hungary, and I have also been invited as a program committee member from flagship conferences in the field of complex systems and network science.

대학생의 진로, 취업, 창업에 대한 연구를 주로 하고 있으며 대학생의 진로성숙도가 주관적 경력성공에 미치는 영향 등 진로, 경력형성과 관련한 논문 발표하였다. 또한 진공탐색 진로보드게임, 프로틴 커리어 온라인 직업심리검사 등 교육도구에 대한 특허출원 및 등록을 진행하였다. 또한 한국직업상담협회와 함게 직업상담사 대상 양성교육 및 보수교육을 진행 중이며 한국고용정보원과 함께 대학일자리플러스센터 거점형특화모델 연구를 진행하였다. 

I primarily conducts research on college students' career development, employment, and entrepreneurship. I have published academic papers related to career and professional development, including studies on how college students’ career maturity influences their perceived career success. I have also applied for and registered patents for educational tools such as a major exploration career board game and the "Protein Career" online vocational psychology assessment.

In addition, I am currently conducting training and continuing education programs for vocational counselors in collaboration with the Korea Vocational Counseling Association. I am also involved in research on specialized hub models for university career service centers (University Job Plus Centers) in collaboration with the Korea Employment Information Service.
