고령층 소비자를 위한 온라인 구매환경의 시각적 구조 및 신뢰에 대한 연구를 주로 하고 있다. 홍익대학교 시각디자인 박사학위를 받았으며, Pratt Institute (NYC) 에서 Communications Packaging Design 석사학위, Emily Carr University of Art & Design 에서 Industrial Design 학사 학위를 받았다. 현재 한국만화애니메이션학회(KOSCAS) 부회장, 부천국제애니메이션페스티벌(BIAF) 집행위원, 한국기초조형학회(KSBDA)이사로 활동 중이다. 

Jungwoo Christine Yoon is a Korean-Canadian designer and educator teaching in the post-secondary education since 2011 in Vancouver, NYC, Daegu and Seoul. She is an Associate Professor in the Media Technology Contents Department at Catholic University of Korea. She holds Ph.D. in Communication Design from Hongik University in Seoul, MS, Communication/Packaging Design from Pratt Institute, NYC, and BFA, Industrial Design from ECUAD, Vancouver. 

Her interest in research lies in visual design of online shopping environment focused on inclusion of elderly people with physical and physiological limitations. Her area of expertise in professional design practice and teaching is in structure-focused beauty and food packaging design. Jungwoo Christine has participated in over 30 international group exhibitions since 2009, with  research publications and a Ph.D. dissertation paper that primarily share the objective of inclusion of elderly people through improvement in visual design for online food shopping.

She is the Vice President of the Korean Society of Cartoon and Animations (KOSCAS), a member of the board of directors of the Bucheon International Animation Festival Organizing Committee (BIAF), and a member of the board of directors of the Korea Society of Basic Design & Art (KSBDA).
