야마오카 야스요 교수는 동경약학대학교(학사), 동경대학교(석사), 사이타마대학교(박사)에서 학위를 받았으며, 포항공과대학교에서 박사후연구원 및 연구교수, 이후 서울대학교 연구교수를 거쳐, 2021년 3월에 가톨릭대학교 생명공학과 조교수로 임용되었다. 세포생물학과 분자생문학을 기반으로 식물 지질 대사와 기능 해석, 스트레스 내성 메커니즘 해석을 통해 식물의 활용 방안을 높이는 연구를 수행 중이다. 이를 위해 모델 식물인 애기 장대, 모델 미세조류인 클라미도모나스를 기반으로 기초연구를 수행하며, 이를 개구리밥 및 클로렐라에 적용하여 실용화를 검토하고 있다. 한국식물학회(KSPB), 한국미생물 생명공학회(KMB), 국제생물지질학회(SPL), 미국식물생리학회 (ASPB), 일본식물생리학회(JSPP), 일본식물지절학연구회(JAPLR)에서 정회원, 아시아-태평양 식물 지질학회(ASPL) 위원으로 활동 중이다.

Professor Yasuyo Yamaoka is an assistant professor in the Department of Biotechnology at the Catholic University of Korea. She earned her bachelor's degree from Tokyo University of Pharmacy and Life Sciences (Tokyo, Japan), followed by a master's degree from The University of Tokyo (Tokyo, Japan). Later, she completed her doctoral studies at Saitama University (Saitama, Japan) after a change in her supervising professor's position. Subsequently, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher and research professor at Pohang University of Science and Technology (Pohang, Korea), then served as a research professor at Seoul National University (Seoul, Korea) before joining the Catholic University of Korea as an assistant professor in 2021. Professor Yamaoka's research focuses on understanding plant lipid metabolism and function using cellular and molecular biology techniques. She aims to expand the applications of plant biotechnology for various uses. Her lab collaborates internationally with countries such as Japan, the United States, and France, and provides student education to participate in global research activities. Currently, she is an active member of several professional societies, including the Korean Society of Plant Biologists (KSPB), Korean Society for Microbiology and Biotechnology (KMB), International Symposium on Plant Lipids (ISPL), American Society of Plant Biologists 

연세대학교 심리학과에서 학부와 석사를 마치고, 성균관의대 삼성서울병원 정신건강의학과에서 임상심리레지던트로 일했으며, 임상심리전문가(한국심리학회), 정신건강임상심리사 1급(보건복지부) 자격을 갖고 있다. 2010년 연세대학교에서 사회불안의 인지편향을 주제로 박사학위를 받았고, 경일대학교 전임강사, 연세대학교 조교수로 일했으며, 2015년부터 가톨릭대학교 심리학과 교수로 일하고 있다. 불안장애, 특히 사회불안장애와 섭식장애의 인지편향에 관심을 갖고 연구하고 있다. 여러 정신병리 현상이 부정 정서 자극에 대한 주의 편향, 외부 자극을 부정적으로 해석하는 편향, 신호탐지이론을 적용한 부정 정서에 대한 민감성과 반응 편향, 그리고 정서 자극의 평균 추론 편향을 주로 연구하고 있다. 인지편향을 수정하는 치료적 개입에도 관심을 갖고 있다. 한국임상심리학회와 한국심리학회에서 이사직을 여러 차례 역임한 바 있다. 현재 학부에서는 이상심리학, 임상심리학, 스트레스와 적응, 남성과 여성의 심리학, 대학원에서는 정신병리학을 강의하고 있다.  

After completing my undergraduate and master's degrees in psychology at Yonsei University, I worked as a clinical psychology resident at Samsung Seoul Hospital, Department of Psychiatry, Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine. I hold a Certified Clinical Psychologist (Korean Psychological Association) and Clinical Psychologist (Ministry of Health and Welfare). In 2010, I obtained a Ph.D. from Yonsei University with a dissertation on cognitive biases in social anxiety. I have served as an assistant professor at Kyungil University and Yonsei University. Since 2015, I have worked as a professor in the Department of Psychology at the Catholic University of Korea. My research interests focus on cognitive biases in anxiety disorders, particularly social anxiety disorder and eating disorders. I investigate psychopathological phenomena such as attentional biases toward negative emotional stimuli, biased interpretation of external stimuli, sensitivity and response biases to negative emotional stimuli applying signal detection theory, and biased ensemble coding of emotional stimuli. I am also interested in therapeutic interventions aimed at modifying cognitive biases. I have held various positions as a board member of the Korean Clinical Psychology Association and the Korean Psychological Association. 

졸업 후  대외경제정책연구원 연구위원으로 1997년 입사한 후 외환위기시 정부를 지원하였으며, WTO 협상과 한-칠레FTA 협상을 지원하고 참여하였으며, APEC 차원에서 뉴질랜드, 필리핀과 대만의 보고르 목표 정책평가자 역할을 하였고,  OECD 규제개혁 검토 및 정부와 OECD간 각종 규제개혁 협동작업에도 참여하였다.  이 때 주 업무는 한미통상마찰이었다.  2003년 가톨릭대학교에 들어온 후, 국제통상(특히 정부조달, 무역원활화, 통상정책)과 국제경제, 거시경제, 경제성장 및 규제와 규제개혁 부문에서 교육과 연구 및 정부지원 작업을 하고 있다,

After graduation, from 1997 to 2003, I was a research fellow at Korea Institute for International Economics (KIEP) where my tasks included supporting the government during the 1997 financial crisis, supporting WTO and Korea-Chile FTA negotiations, serving as APEC Bogor Goal Peer Reviewer for New Zealand, the Philippines and Chinese Taipei (Taiwan), supporting the government during OECD regulatory reform review for Korea, as well as working with OECD on projects relating to regulatory reform, and Korea-US trade relationship.  Since joining the faculty of the Catholic University in 2003, I have been working and doing research on international trade (especially on areas of government procurement, trade facilitation, and trade policy), international economics, macroeconomics, economic growth. as well as regulation and regulatory reform.

The University of Texas at Austin에서 학사를 취득하고 University of North Texas 대학원에서 영미의 현대 문학을 전공하여 Poetry로 박사학위를 받았으며 2010년도부터 한국가톨릭대학교에서 강의 및 연구를 해 오고 있습니다. 
지금까지 영문학분야에서 A & HCI를 포함한 15편의 논문을 발표하였으며 2025년도에는 안식년 계획 중에 있습니다.

Euichaul Oh, Ph.D., is currently a Professor of Pharmaceutics in the College of Pharmacy at the Catholic University of Korea since 2010. Prof. Oh received his B.S. in Pharmacy and M.S. in Physical Pharmacy from Seoul National University and his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from the University of Iowa. After joining the U.S. pharmaceutical industry in 1999, he worked as a Team Leader Scientist for Astellas and then worked as a Group Leader Scientist for Teva being involved in many R&D projects for pharmaceutical development of new drug entities and drug delivery technologies. After moving to Korean pharmaceutical industry in 2006, Dr. Oh was leading pharmaceutical R&D as Senior Vice President at Kuhnil Pharm, heading new drug development as CSO at SK Chemicals, and responsible for overall functions of drug development as CEO at STH Pharm. He was actively involved in the commercialization of six global new drug development, and was responsible for the product development of 62 new prescription drugs and the development of 33 pharmaceutical technologies. He has authored and co-authored more than 230 peer-reviewed scientific papers, book chapters and patents in pharmaceutical and DDS development. Prof. Oh served as President for the Korean Society of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology as well as is currently a member of the Rho Chi Pharmaceutical Honor Society in the USA.
