유희주 교수는 서울대학교에서 이학박사(생물학과)를 받았으며 서울대학교 세포분화연구센터에서 박사후 연구원과 농촌진흥청 국립원예특작과학원에서 농업연구사로 근무하였고 미국 캘리포니아 대학(UC Davis)에서 방문연구원으로 근무하였음. 2010년부터 가톨릭대학교에 근무하면서 학과장, 학생및취창업처장, 중앙도서관장으로 활동함. 주전공은 세포분자유전 및 식물발달생물학이며 주요연구관심사는 '식물의 유전체, 전사체 정보 생산 및 이를 이용한 형질관련 유전자 기능탐색과 활용' 연구임. 특히 1) 무에서  전장유전체(whole-genome) 정보를 이용한 형질 유전자 탐색 및 대용량 마커 개발과 2) 포도의 오믹스 정보(전사체) 분석과 이를 이용한 종자발달 및 탄닌대사 관련 연구, 그리고 3) 2차 대사산물 생산(시코닌) 세포배양 연구를 함. 현재 한국식물학회 대의원과 한국유전학회 이사로 활동하며 생명과학 분야의 발전에 기여함.

Hee-Ju Yu was awarded a Doctor of Science degree from Seoul National University. She worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Cell Differentiation Research Center of Seoul National University, as an agricultural researcher in the National Institute of Horticultural Science, Rural Development Administration, and as a visiting researcher at the Dept. of Plant Biology of the University of California (UC Davis). Since 2010, she has served as a department chairman, dean of student affairs and employment, and director of the central library. Her major is cellular molecular genetics and plant developmental biology. Her main research interests include the production of plant genome and transcriptome information and the study of trait-related gene functions and utilization using omics information. She contributes to the development of the field of life sciences by serving as a delegate of the Korean Society of Plant Biologists and a board member of the Genetics Society of Korea.

연구자로서 교육적 리더십과 교육적 방법의 접근을 통해 가톨릭교육, 청소년사목, 교리교육, 대안교육에 대한 발전적 방향을 연구한다.  

As a researcher, my focus is  mainly on Catholic education, Youth Ministry, Catechetics, and Alternative Education through the lens of  educational leadership and educational methodological approaches. 

주요 연구분야는 개발경제학과 국제통상이다. 개발경제학 분야에서는 기술혁신 및 확산이 생산성에 미치는 영향, 기술역량 및 기업간 기술확산, 산업정책 등을 위주로 연구하고 있다. 국제통상 분야에서는 주로 지식재산권, 경쟁, 생물다양성  관련 국제통상규범에 관해 연구하고 있다. 최근에는 국제통상규범 연구를 토대로 글로벌 공중보건 및 생물다양성과 같은 글로벌 공공재 연구에 관심을 가지고 있다. 미국 캘리포니아 주립대 (데이비스)에서 학사학위, 영국 정경대학교에서 석사학위를 취득 후 1996년 영국 옥스퍼드 대학교에서 경제학으로 박사학위를 받았다. 2006년 가톨릭대학교에 부임하기 전 삼성경제연구원, 대외경제정책연구원 등에서 연구위원으로 재직하였다. 국내외 연구자들과 활발히 공동연구를 진행하고 있으며 관련 학회에서 꾸준히 활동하고 있다. 한국경제학포럼(한국경제학회), 국제경제연구(한국국제경제학회) 편집위원을 역임하였으며, 현재 국제개발협력 연구(국제개발협력학회) 편집위원으로 활동하고 있다. 또한 국제개발협력학회와 국제통상학회 이사를 역임하였으며 여성경제학회 편집위원장, 부회장, 회장 (2022)을 역임한 바 있다. 국민경제자문회의 대외경제분과 위원(2020-2021)과 국제개발협력위원회 위원(2016-2018, 2020-2022)으로 활동하였다.

Mikyung Yun's major area of research are Development Economics and International Trade. She studied as an undergraduate at the University of California (Davis) and completed her Master of Science degree from the London School of Economics before receiving Ph.D. from the University of Oxford in 1996. Mikyung has published several papers on the effect of technological innovation and diffusion on productivity growth, technological capability and inter-firm technology transfer, and industrial policy, as well as on international trade regime regarding intellectual property rights, competition and biodiversity. She has recently begun to re-interpret her studies from the viewpoint of global public goods, especially in the area of global public health and biodiversity. She is active in professional associations related to her research fields, and served as Committee Member of the Committee for International Development of Cooperation (CIDC: 2016-2018, 2020-2022) and as member of the National Economic Council(2020-2021).

윤은주 교수는 고려대학교에서 생명공학 박사학위를 취득하고, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign의 Carl R. Woese Institute for Genomic Biology에서 박사후연구원으로 연구한 바 있으며, 전북대학교를 거쳐 현재 가톨릭대학교 생명공학과에 재직 중이다.
주요 연구 분야는 대사체학, 시스템생물학, 생물공정공학이며, 고차원 오믹스 데이터 기반의 대사 네트워크 분석과 모델링을 통해 미생물의 생리 및 대사 조절 메커니즘을 규명하고, 이를 바탕으로 지속가능한 바이오소재 및 차세대 바이오화합물 생산 플랫폼 구축에 주력하고 있다.
또한 UC Berkeley, DOE Joint Genome Institute, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign 등 해외 유수 연구기관과의 국제 공동연구를 활발히 수행하고 있다.

Professor Eun Ju Yun received her Ph.D. in Food Bioscience and Technology from Korea University and conducted postdoctoral research at the Carl R. Woese Institute for Genomic Biology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After serving at Jeonbuk National University, she is currently a faculty member in the Department of Biotechnology at The Catholic University of Korea.
Her main research areas include metabolomics, systems biology, and bioprocess engineering. She focuses on elucidating microbial physiology and metabolic regulation through high-dimensional omics data analysis and network modeling, with an emphasis on developing sustainable bio-based materials and next-generation biochemical production platforms.
She is also actively engaged in international collaborations with leading research institutions such as UC Berkeley, the DOE Joint Genome Institute, and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
