권순재 교수는 한국과학기술원(KAIST) 전기및전자공학부에서 2010년도에 학사학위, 2018년도에 박사학위를 취득하였다. 이후에는 KAIST와 New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD)에서 박사후연구원으로 재직하였으며, 2023년 3월부터 가톨릭대학교 정보통신전자공학부에 재직하며 MERIT(MicroElectronics based on Remarkable Integrated Circuits Technology) Lab을 운영하고 있다. 

아날로그/혼성신호 집적회로 설계 기술을 기반으로 마이크로시스템을 융합하는 연구와 마이크로시스템을 통해 의료기기, 웨어러블 기기, 사물인터넷 기기들을 구현하는 연구를 수행 중이다. KAIST, NYUAD 등 국내외 유수의 기관들과 활발한 공동연구를 수행하고 있으며 현재까지 총 20편의 SCIE급 국제학술지에 게재하였으며, 24편의 논문을 국제학술대회에서 발표하였다.  SCIE급 국제학술지 Integration - the VLSI Journal, International Journal of Circuit Theory and Applications의 Associate Editor로 활동 중이다.  

Soon-Jae Kweon received a B.S. degree and a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, South Korea, in 2010 and 2018, respectively. After that, he worked as a postdoctoral associate at KAIST and New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD). Since March 2023, he has been an Assistant Professor with the School of Information, Communications, and Electronic Engineering at the Catholic University of Korea, leading the MERIT (Microelectronics based on Remarkable Integrated Circuits Technology) Lab.

His research aims at integrating microsystems based on analog/mixed-signal integrated circuit design technology and developing medical devices, wearable devices, and IoT devices through those microsystems. He is actively conducting joint research with leading domestic and international institutions such as KAIST and NYUAD. He has published 20 SCIE journals and presented 24 papers at international conferences. He is currently working as an Associate Editor of SCIE journals, Integration - the VLSI Journal and International Journal of Circuit Theory and Applications.
