컴퓨터그래픽 기술을 활용한 3D애니메이션, 실감콘텐츠, 미디어아트 기획 및 제작을 연구하고 있으며, AI를 활용한 콘텐츠 제작기술로 연구분야를 확장하고 있다. 컴퓨터그래픽 회사에서 영화, 광고, 방송, Full 3D 극장용애니메이션 콘텐츠 제작과 3D, 4D, VR영상 등, 다양한 콘텐츠를 기획하고 제작하였다. 광주정보문화산업진흥원에서는 기술책임자로서 한미합작 공동프로젝트 제작총괄로 신기술 도입, 콘텐츠마케팅, 인력양성 등 다양한 경험을 쌓았다. 현재 한국만화애니메이션학회 부회장 등 다양한 학회 활동과, 부천국제애니메이션페스티벌집행위원장, 조달청 전문평가 위원으로 활동 중이다. 

I am researching the planning and production of 3D animation, immersive content, and media art using computer graphics technology, while expanding my research into content creation technologies utilizing AI. At a computer graphics company, I have planned and produced various content, including films, commercials, broadcasts, full 3D theatrical animations, and 3D, 4D, and VR videos. As a technical director at the Gwangju Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency, I gained diverse experiences in new technology adoption, content marketing, and overall production management for a joint Korean-American project. Currently, I am actively involved in various academic societies as Vice President of the Korea Society of Cartoon & Animation Studies and serving as the Executive Committee Chairman of the Bucheon International Animation Festival, as well as a specialist evaluator for the Public Procurement Service.

긍정정서 반응 양식 척도 개발 및 타당화 연구로 가톨릭대학교에서 박사학위를 취득하였다. 그간 긍정정서와 정서조절, 우울을 주제로  논문을 발표하였고, 주로 긍정정서 조절 문제와 정신건강의 관계에 대해 연구하고 있다. 대학 상담센터와 청소년 기관, 사설상담센터 등에서 상담 실무 경력을 쌓아왔고,  상담심리전문가로 개인심리치료와 수퍼비전을 진행하며 상담자를 양성하고 있다. (사)한국상담심리학회 총무이사와 심의위원, 한국인지행동치료학회 학술위원을 맡은 바 있으며, 현재 대학원에서 상담 기법 실습 및 긍정심리학 관련 강의를 담당하고 있다.  

My research focuses on deficits in the regulation of positive emotions, treatment for depression, and mechanisms of affective dysregulation. I have worked as a counseling psychologist in various settings. I am currently training counselors as a supervisor and conducting individual psychotherapy based on psychodynamic theory and emotion-focused therapy. My main teaching areas include therapeutic interview practicum and positive psychology in psychotherapy.

이화여자대학교에서 '유아교사의 디지털역량 강화를 위한 교육 프로그램 개발' 을 주제로 박사학위를 받았다. 이화여자대학교 부속 이화어린이연구원에서 교사로 근무하였으며, EBS 우리집 유치원 자문위원으로 활동하였다. 유아교육에서 미래사회 변화를 반영한 디지털 교육, 지속가능발전교육, 인구교육 등에 주로 관심을 가지고 연구를 진행하고 있다. 이와 더불어 영유아의 언어발달과 문해력, 문학교육에 대한 연구에도 관심을 기울이고 있다. 현재 학부와 대학원에서 관련 과목(유아 디지털 교육, 유아 지속가능발전교육, 언어지도, 아동문학/유아문학교육세미나)을 담당하고 있다. 세계유아교육기구(OMEP) 한국위원회 국제부 총무이사, 한국유아교육학회 학술위원, 한국육아지원학회 이사 등 학회에서 활발하게 활동 중이다. 

Dr. Kim received her Ph.D. from Ewha Womans University with a dissertation titled "Development of Educational Programs to Strengthen the Digital Competency of Early Childhood Teachers." She has worked as a teacher at the Ewha Child Research Institute affiliated with Ewha Womans University and has served as a consultant for the EBS program "Our Home Kindergarten." Her primary research interests are focused on digital education that reflects future societal changes, education for sustainable development, and population education in early childhood education. Additionally, Dr. Kim is also dedicated to research on language development, literacy, and literature education for young children. Currently, she teaches related courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, including Early Childhood Digital Education, Early Childhood Education for Sustainable Development, Language Instruction, and Seminars on Children's Literature and Early Childhood Literature Education. Dr. Kim is actively involved in various academic organizations, serving as the Secretary General of the International Affairs Division of the Korean Committee of OMEP (World Organization for Early Childhood Education), a member of the Academic Committee of the Korean Society for Early Childhood Education, and a board member of the Korean Society for Childcare and Education.

2022년 8월부터 가톨릭대학교 공간디자인·소비자학과에서 조교수로 재직 중이다. 연구분야는 인간과 공간 환경의 상호 작용을 기반으로 한 디자인 융복합 연구이다. 다학제적 접근을 통해 디지털기술과 신경건축학 방법을 활용하고, 이를 통해 과학적 데이터를 바탕으로 한 인간중심의 공간 설계를 위한 근거기반 디자인(EBD)을 연구하고 있다.
연세대학교에서 실내건축학 박사학위를 취득한 후, 동 대학의 미래환경디자인 연구센터에서 리서치 펠로우로 근무하였고, 한국연구재단 연구개발과제 연구책임자로서 “생체신호기반 아이트래킹 기술을 활용한 VR/AR 공간 평가 방법 개발”연구를 수행했다. 약 10년 산업체 경력이 있으며, 미국에서는 Page Southerland Page,Inc., Tonychi Studio, Chicago History Museum 에서 공간 설계 및 실내디자인 업무를 , 국내에서는 (주)신세계 인터내셔날에서 리테일 스토어 개발 및 공간 브랜딩을 담당했다. 
현재는 미국, 캐나다, 중국 대학 등과 국제공동연구를 수행하고 있다. 연구성과물은 Journal of Environmental Psychology, International Journal of Human-Computer Interaction 등  SSCI/ SCIE 국제학술지와 Springer 전문학술서적에 다수 게재되었다.

Dr. Nayeon Kim is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Spatial Design and Consumer Studies at the Catholic University of Korea.  Her research focuses on design convergence based on the interaction between humans and their spatial environments. Through a multidisciplinary approach, she utilizes digital technology and neuroarchitecture to develop evidence-based design (EBD) for human-centered spatial design.  
After obtaining a Ph.D. in Interior Architecture from Yonsei University, she worked as a Research Fellow at Future Environmental Design Research Center. She also served as the Principal Investigator of funded  research projects on 'Development of  VR/AR Space Evaluation Methodology Using Biometrics Based Eye Tracking Technology'. She has amassed ten years of industry experience, working in space planning and interior design at Page Southerland Page, Washington DC, Tonychi Studio, New York and the Chicago History Museum in the USA, and in retail store development and spatial branding at Shinsegae International in Korea. 
Currently, she is  actively collaborating with international institutes  in diverse countries, including USA, Canada, and China. Her research findings have been extensively published in international journals, including the Journal of Environmental Psychology and International Journal of Human-Computer Interaction.

독일 자를란트 대학에서 종교학을 주전공, 신학과 교육학을 부전공으로 수학했다. 박사학위 논문은 신종교의 역사적 전개 양상에 관한 것이었다. 연구 분야는 동·서양의 종교 전통에 나타나는 다양한 종교 현상에 대한 해석학적 고찰이다. 또한 가톨릭 인간학을 토대로 한 가톨릭 교육에도 관심을 갖고 새로운 지평을 열어 가려고 한다. 로마노 과르디니를 비롯한 여러 가톨릭 신학자들의 견해를 한국 현실을 기반으로 하여 교육학적으로 새롭게 살펴보고 있다. 이러한 작업은 학부대학에서 연구와 강의를 풍성하게 하는데 도움이 되고 있다. 현재 한국종교교육학회, 동학학회, 한국문학과종교학회, 김수환추기경연구소, 한국천주교주교회의, 문체부 등에서 임원과 회원, 자문위원으로 활동하고 있다.

Professor Nam-Hui Kim studied religious studies with a major in religious studies and minors in theology and pedagogy at the University of Saarland, Germany. Her doctoral dissertation was on the historical development of new religions. Her research interests include the hermeneutical examination of various religious phenomena in Eastern and Western religious traditions. She is also interested in Catholic education based on Catholic anthropology and is trying to break new horizons. The views of various Catholic theologians, including Romano Guardini, are being examined anew in pedagogical terms based on Korean realities. This work is helping to enrich research and lectures at undergraduate College.
She is currently serving as an officer, member, and advisor to the  Korean Association for the Study of Religious Education, the Donghak Society, the Korean Society for Literature and Religion, The Stephen Cardinal Kim Institute, the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Korea, and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

이화여자대학교 특수교육과를 졸업하고, 미국 일리노이주립 대학교(University of Illinois at Urbana-Chamapgin)에서 특수교육학 전공으로 석사 및 박사학위를 취득한 후,  현재 가톨릭대학교 특수교육과 교수로 재직 중이다. 관심 있는 연구주제는 장애학생의 직업교육, 전환교육, 의료적 지원이다. 대표 저서로는 『특수교육 진로와 직업교육론』, 『장애학생을 위한 전환교육과 전환서비스』, 『(장애학생을 위한) 전환교육의 이해와 적용』 등이 있으며, 책임연구자로 2015 특수교육교과서(초등음악), 그림직업흥미검사 최신화 개정 및 접근성 향상 연구, 장애청소년 진로성숙도검사 개정 및 추가개발연구, 장애학생 진로직업교육 현황조사, 학교 내 중도장애학생 의료지원 가이드북 개발, 발달장애 근로자 조기노화에 따른 고용주 및 당사자 지원 방안 탐색, 교육청 장애인 교원현황 실태조사 등 교육부, 고용노동부, 보건복지부 지원을 받아 다양한 국과과제를  수행하고 있다. 현재 한국지적장애학회 부회장, 한국발달장애학회 이사로 봉사하고 있다.
