김지훈 교수는 줄기세포분야의 연구를 수행하는 조교수로 네덜란드 Hubrecht Institute에서 단백질 분해 조절에 의한 세포주기 조절에 대한 연구로 세포생물학 및 생화학 관련 박사학위를 수여받았음. 이후 2016년부터 영국 캠브리지 대학교 줄기세포연구소에서 박사후연구원을 시작하였으며 오스트리아 IMBA 연구소에서 2021년까지 박사후연구원을 지냈음. 박사후연구원 과정 중 오가노이드 및 생쥐 유전학을 활용한 줄기세포의 항상성 조절 및 질병 발달에 관한 연구를 수행하였음. 2021년 9월부터 가톨릭대학교 의생명과학과에 조교수로 부임하였으며 한국줄기세포협회의 정회원으로 활동하고 있음. 주요 연구분야는 오가노이드, 동물모델, 세포 등 다양한 방법을 활용하여 줄기세포의 항상성 유지와 질병모델링에 관한 연구를 수행하고 있음. 특히 위, 장, 간, 폐, 자궁내막 등 다양한 기관 관련 오가노이드를 활용하여 기관특이적인 줄기세포의 조절 메커니즘과 유전자 교정을 통한 질병모델링에 관한 연구를 통해 국제적인 수준의 다양한 논문을 발표하였음. 현재 가톨릭대학교 뿐만 아니라 기초과학연구원에 초빙연구위원으로 활동하며 2곳의 연구실을 유지하고 있음.

Professor Jihoon Kim is an assistant professor conducting research in the field of stem cells. He obtained his Ph.D. in cell biology and biochemistry from the Hubrecht Institute in the Netherlands, where he studied cell cycle regulation through protein degradation control. In 2016, he began his postdoctoral research at the Wellcome-MRC Cambridge Stem Cell Institute at the University of Cambridge, UK, and continued his postdoctoral work at the Institute of Molecular Biotechnology (IMBA) in Austria until 2021. During his postdoctoral research, he investigated the regulation of stem cell homeostasis and disease development using organoids and mouse genetics. Since September 2021, he has been serving as an assistant professor in the Department of Medical and Biological Science at The Catholic University of Korea and is an active full member of the Korean Society for Stem Cell Research. His primary research focuses on the maintenance of stem cell homeostasis and disease modeling through various methodologies, including organoids, animal models, and cellular studies.

주로 노인장기요양보험제도 및 노인돌봄과 관련된 연구를 해오고 있다. 2008년도 실시된 노인장기요양보험제도 전후로 보건복지부 시범사업 및 본 제도의 등급판정도구 개발 연구에 주도적으로 참여해왔다. 최근에는 노인분야의 다양한 연구주제들, 노인과 영성, 노인과 성, 남성노인돌봄자, 요양보호에 대한 가치 및 케어매니지먼트 등에 대한 논문들을 게재해왔다. 

Main research topics are related to 'long-term care policies ' or ' care for elders'. Since 2004 the Assessment system of LTC Insurance was most topic of my papers. Recent papers covers topics including 'elders and spirituality', 'elders and sex', 'male elders caregiving', 'the value of care giving' and so on. 

지능 알고리즘 및 통계 분석을 기반으로 지능형 반도체 제조기술 및 BIT 융합 기술을 주로 연구하고 있다. 1998년 미국 Georgia Institute of Technology(Georgia Tech)에서 신경회로망 및 진화 알고리즘을 기반으로 MCM(multi-chip module) packaging 공정의 modeling, optimization, 및 control 연구로 박사 학위를 받았다. 학위 후 미국 PRC(packaging research center), Georgia Tech에서 research associate로 일했고, 그 후 삼성전자 반도체 System LSI사업부 SoC팀에서 책임연구원으로 일했다. 2001년부터 가톨릭대학교 정보통신전자공학부에서 지능시스템 연구실을 운영해 오고 있으며, 중기청, 산학협동재단, ETRI, 지경부, 과기부, (美) Micron社, 연구재단 등에서 관련 연구를 지원받아 진행했다.

His research focuses on intelligent semiconductor manufacturing technology and BIT convergence technology based on intelligent algorithms and statistical analysis. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) in 1998 for modeling, optimization and control of multi-chip module (MCM) packaging process using neural networks and genetic algorithms. After completing his Ph.D., he worked as a research associate at the Packaging Research Center (PRC), Georgia Tech, and then as a principal researcher at the SoC team of the System LSI Division of Samsung Electronics. Since 2001, he has managed the Intelligent Systems Laboratory at the School of Information, Communications and Electronics Engineering, The Catholic University of Korea, and has received research support from the Small and Medium Business Administration, the Industry-Academia Cooperation Foundation, ETRI, the Ministry of Science and ICT, Micron Corporation, and the National Research Foundation.

김태연 교수는 가톨릭대학교 경영학과 조교수이다. 연세대학교 산업공학과에서 학사학위를 받았으며, 한국과학기술원(KAIST) 경영공학과에서 석사, 박사학위를 받았다. 2022년부터 가톨릭대학교 경영학과에서 근무하고 있으며, 주로 재무, 금융 분야 수업을 맡고 있다. 주요 연구 관심사는 기업재무, 금융기관, 기업지배구조, ESG경영, 핀테크 관련 분야이다. 구체적으로 기관투자자의 영향 및 투자 행태, 이사진 구성 및 CEO 임금구조, 기업의 사회적 책임 활동 효과, 배당 정책, 기업 인수합병,  기업 리스크 관리 관련 연구를 진행하고 있다.

Taeyeon Kim is an assistant professor of Business Administration at the Catholic University of Korea. He received a Ph.D. and M.S. in Management Engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology(KAIST) and B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Yonsei University. Since 2022, he has been working at the Catholic University of Korea.He teaches courses on finance and investment such as Financial Management, Investment Theory, Financial Derivatives, Financial Data Analysis and Empirical Research in Finance. His research interests cover corporate finance, financial institutions, corporate governance, ESG management and FinTech.

Professor Pil KIM graduated his bachelor’s degree at Korea University (Food Technology), master and Ph. D. degrees at KAIST (Biological Sciences). He has conducted postdoc fellows at KRIBB (Fermentation Systems RU) and at Michigan State University (Dept. of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology) as well as at the Tongyang Confectionery Co. as a special military service before the assignment as a full-time professor at the Catholic Univ. of Korea (Dept. of Biotechnology) since 2004. He has been studying on developments of biologics/biotics based on metabolic engineering and cellular evolutionary engineering of single-cells and proteins, on microbial energy metabolism and its physiology. He has accomplished Technology Fee Incomes and has founded a company during his adjunct professorshi. He is a current director of a research group composing 10 domestic institutes entitled “Development of Novel Food Ingredients for Alternative Proteins” funded by Korean Ministry of Science, Technology, and ICT. 

가톨릭대학교 바이오메디컬화학공학과 교수이다. KAIST 생명화학공학과 (학사)와 서울대학교 화학생물공학부 (박사)에서 학위를 수여했다. 면역조절형 나노/바이오 소재의 개발을 통해 조직 재생 또는 항암 치료제로서의 응용 연구를 하고 있다. 세포치료제, 엑소좀, 유전자치료제, 조직공학제제 등의 첨단바이오융복합제제와 다양한 나노 소재의 융합 연구를 수행하는 면역재생의공학연구실 (IRBM) 을 운영하고 있다.
