성심산학협력단

가톨릭대학교 바이오메디컬화학공학과 교수이다. KAIST 생명화학공학과 (학사)와 서울대학교 화학생물공학부 (박사)에서 학위를 수여했다. 면역조절형 나노/바이오 소재의 개발을 통해 조직 재생 또는 항암 치료제로서의 응용 연구를 하고 있다. 세포치료제, 엑소좀, 유전자치료제, 조직공학제제 등의 첨단바이오융복합제제와 다양한 나노 소재의 융합 연구를 수행하는 면역재생의공학연구실 (IRBM) 을 운영하고 있다.

김형권 교수는 서울대학교와 한국과학기술원(KAIST)에서 학위를 취득하였다. 대덕연구단지에 위치한 한국생명공학연구원(KRIBB)에서 연구원으로 근무했으며, 미국 국립보건원(NIH)에서 visiting fellow로 근무하였다. 2003년부터 지금까지 가톨릭대학교 생명공학과에서 근무하고 있으며, 학과장, 입학처장, 성심대학원장으로 활동하였다. 
연구 관심사는 미생물, 메타게놈, 유전체정보로부터 지질가수분해 효소 발굴, 다양한 숙주에서 재조합효소 생산, 효소의 산업적 특성 규명, 분자진화기법과 위치특이적 돌연변이 기법으로 효소 개량, 효소의 3차구조 및 도킹구조 모델링, 효소의 고정화, 효소 반응을 통한 항산화, 항균 지질소재 생산, 플렉서블 리포솜 개발 분야이다. 
인도네시아 AJCUI대학, IPB대학과 인적, 물적 공동연구를 활발히 수행하고 있다. 
현재 한국미생물생명공학회(KMB)에서 평의원 및 JMB/MBL 편집위원으로 활동하고 있으며, 생물촉매분과 위원장, 학술간사, 소식지 간사로 활동하였다. 또한, 한국미생물학회에서 대외협력위원장으로 활동하였고, 한국효소공학연구회에서 이사 및 감사로 활동하고 있다.

Professor Hyung-Kwoun Kim is a professor in the Dept. of Biotechnology at the Catholic University of Korea. He received his bachelor's degree from the Dept. of Zoology, College of Natural Sciences, Seoul National Univ., and his master's and doctoral degrees from the Dept. of Biological Sciences, KAIST. He worked as a researcher, senior researcher, and principal investigator at the Applied Microbiology Lab at the KRIBB, and as a visiting fellow at the NIH in USA. His main research interests include discovery of lipolytic enzymes from microbial, metagenome, and genomic information, production of recombinant enzymes in various hosts, and industrial characterization of enzymes. He is also researching enzyme improvement using molecular evolution techniques and site-directed mutagenesis techniques, as well as tertiary structure and docking structure modeling of enzymes. And his research field is in the areas of enzyme immobilization, production of antioxidant/antibacterial lipid materials through enzyme reactions, and flexible liposome development. He is actively carrying out joint research with AJCUI Univ. and IPB Univ. in Indonesia. He currently serves as a council member and editorial board member of JMB/MBL at the KMB, and has served as chairman of the biocatalysis section, academic secretary, and newsletter secretary. 

한국식품연구원, 조지아주립대학교에서 박사후 연수과정을 거쳤고  식품영양학과  교수로 재직 중이다.  식품 성분의  항비만, 당뇨 개선 기능성과 그 기전이 관심분야로  특히 비만에서의 염증반응과 인슐린 저항성과 관련하여 연구하고 있다.  다수의 학술서적을 저술하였고 학회 활동을 통해 나트륨 저감화 및 노인복지시설 급식관리 등의 지역사회 건강증진을 위한 사업을 수행하였다. 이러한 공로로 과학기술정보통신부 장관표창을 수상했고 한국영양학회와 대한지역사회영양학회 이사, 한국인 영양소섭취기준 개정위원회의 중심위원을 역임했으며  Nutrition Research & Practice의 편집위원으로 활동 중이다. 

김혜령 교수는 2020년 9월부터 가톨릭대 조교수로 재직 중이다. 한국 외에도 미국과 영국에서의 학업 및 연구 경험을 보유하고 있으며, 주요 연구 분야는 '헬스 커뮤니티 등 의료 혁신'과 '인공지능 기반 디자인 씽킹의 융합교육'이다. Health Expectations 등 SSCI 저널 및 HCI 관련 세계 최고의 학회인 CHI Conference 등을 통해 Healthcare 관련 논문을 출판하였다. 한국 연구재단 신진연구자 과제(24년 6월 ~ 26년 5월)에 선정되어, 현재 Health Community 의 Empowerment에 관한 연구를 수행 중이다. SK 에너지, SK플래닛에서 마케팅 및 브랜드 전략 업무 수행 경험을 보유하고 있다.

Professor Hyeryoung Kim has been serving as an assistant professor at the Catholic University of Korea since September 2020. She possesses academic and research experience in the United States and the United Kingdom, in addition to her work in Korea. Her primary research areas include healthcare innovation, such as health communities, and integrated education that combines AI-based design thinking. She is currently conducting a study on the empowerment of health communities, funded by the National Research Foundation of Korea’s Early-Career Researcher Program (June 2024 to May 2026). She also has professional experience in marketing and brand strategy at SK Energy and SK Planet.

서울대학교 사회과학대학 심리학과를 졸업했으며 한국외국어대학교 통번역대학원에서 석사 학위 취득 후 남가주대학교(University of Southern California)에서 석사 학위(MSTESL)와 박사학위를 취득함 (언어교육, 세부전공: reading). 영어 교육과 통번역 전공 관련 교육과 연구 활동에 임하고 있으며 각종 공인 영어 시험 출제, 검토, 채점 위원으로 활동하고 있음. 중학교, 고등학교 영어교과서(출판사: 디딤돌, 천재교육) 집필진으로 활동하였음.
