곽우리 교수는 기초부터 응용, 상용화 개발에 이르기까지 연구분야의 제한없이 최근 바이오 연구에 필수적으로 활용되는 생물정보학을 기반으로 복잡한 생명현상에 대한 해답을 구하고 있다. 식품의약품안전평가원의 NGS를 이용한 유산균 제품 균주 동정 기술, In-silico 기반 감염병 진단 도구 평가 기법등의 국가 표준기술을 개발하였으며 최근 주목을 받고 있는 암백신 개발을 위해 가장 중요한 개인 맞춤형 항원 및 Epitope개발, 인공지능을 이용한 mRNA 백신 플랫폼 고도화 등의 레드바이오 관련 연구개발을 집중적으로 수행하고 있다.

From basics to commercialization, our laboratory is conducting research to find answers to complex biological phenomena using bioinformatics, which is essential in recent bio research. Our laboratory have developed national standard technologies such as the Korea Food and Drug Safety Evaluation Institute's NGS-based lactic acid bacteria product strain identification technology and in-silico-based infectious disease diagnostic tool evaluation technique. Recently, we are developing personalized antigens and epitopes to develop immuno-anticancer treatments using the mRNA vaccine platform, and are focusing on research and development such as optimizing the mRNA vaccine platform using artificial intelligence, which has recently been attracting increasing attention. 

구민지 교수는 가톨릭대학교에서 한국어교육학을 전공하고 한국어교육센터의 시간 강사부터 시작하여 모교에서 교육 경력을 쌓아왔다. 현재 외국인 전담 학과인 한국어문화학과 소속 교수로서 그리고 한국어교육원 부원장으로서 가톨릭대학교의 외국인 학생 유치와 교육에서 중요한 역할을 담당하고 있다. 주요 관심 분야는 한국어교육학의 연구방법론적 경향, 교육 현장 적용을 위한 질적 연구방법론, 특수 목적 한국어 교재 개발, 교육 패러다임 변화에 따른 대안적 평가 도구 개발 등이며 다양한 영역의 학술 논문을 발표해 오고 있다. 대학원 한국어교육학과에서는 한국어교육학 영역의 거의 모든 교과목을 강의하고 있으며, 외국인 석사과정생과 박사과정생의 논문 지도에 주력하고 있다. 한국어능력시험(TOPIK) 쓰기 채점, 세종학당 파견 교원 심사, 세종한국어평가(SKA) 개발, 한국어교육능력검정시험 출제, 튀르키예 중고등학교 한국어 교과서 개발, 계절근로자를 위한 기초 한국어 학습자료 개발, 세종학당 비즈니스 한국어 교재 재개발 등 다양한 분야에서 활발하게 활동 중이다. 한국어교육학의 4대 학회 중 국제한국어교육학회(IAKLE), 국제한국언어문화학회(INK), 한국언어문화교육학회(KLACES)에서 이사를 맡고 있을 뿐만 아니라 가톨릭대 한국어교육원에서 만든 학회인 국제한국어문화교육학회의 학회장으로서 본교 한국어교육학 발전에 이바지하고 있다. 

Professor Koo majored in Korean Language Education at Catholic University of Korea, where she began her educational career as a part-time lecturer at the Korean Language Education Center. She is now working as Vice Director at the Korean Language Education Institute of her alma mater, playing a pivotal role in attracting international students and advancing Korean language education at Catholic University of Korea. Her primary areas of interest include methodological trends in Korean language education studies, qualitative research methodologies for practical application in educational settings, development of Korean language textbooks for specific purposes, and the creation of alternative assessment tools in response to changing educational paradigms. Professor Koo has published numerous scholarly articles across various domains and teaches nearly all courses within the field of Korean Language Education. She is actively involved in supervising the theses of international master's and doctoral students, grading the TOPIK writing section, evaluating teachers for dispatch to King Sejong Institutes, developing the Sejong Korean language Assessment, creating examination content for the Korean Language Teaching Proficiency Test, developing Korean language textbooks for middle and high school students in Turkey, and producing basic Korean learning materials for seasonal laborers.

가톨릭 교육과 도덕적 리더십, 윤리적 리더십 분야를 주로 연구하고 있다. 2008년 교황청립 살레시오대학교에서 <성공적인 학교를 위한 도덕적 리더십의 실제>라는 주제로 교육학 박사학위를 받았다. 2008년부터 현재까지 가톨릭대학교 학부대학 교수로 재직하며 교육과 연구 분야에서 활발하게 활동하고 있다. 

He mainly studies Catholic education, moral leadership, and ethical leadership. He received his Ed.D. from the Pontifical Salesian University in 2008 with the title, “The Practice of Moral Leadership for Successful Schools.” He has been actively engaged in education and research as a professor at the Catholic University of Korea since 2008.

권보람 교수는 서울대학교에서 경영학 박사(경영정보) 학위를 받았다. 주요 연구 분야는 디지털 전략, 비즈니스 애널리틱스, 정보시스템 사용자 행동으로, 인공지능 등 새로운 정보기술과 디지털 플랫폼이 개인의 의사결정과 기업 성과에 미치는 영향을 연구한다. 한국전자통신연구원(ETRI), 한국기초과학지원연구원(KBSI), 삼정KPMG경제연구원에서 전략 및 정책 연구를 수행한 경험이 있다.

Boram Kwon received her Ph.D. in Business Administration with a specialization in Information Systems from Seoul National University. Her research interests include digital strategy, business analytics, and human behavior in information systems. She examines how emerging information technologies, including artificial intelligence, and digital platforms influence individual decision-making and firm performance. She previously conducted strategy and policy research at the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), the Korea Basic Science Institute (KBSI), and the Samjong KPMG Economic Research Institute.

권순재 교수는 한국과학기술원(KAIST) 전기및전자공학부에서 2010년도에 학사학위, 2018년도에 박사학위를 취득하였다. 이후에는 KAIST와 New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD)에서 박사후연구원으로 재직하였으며, 2023년 3월부터 가톨릭대학교 정보통신전자공학부에 재직하며 MERIT(MicroElectronics based on Remarkable Integrated Circuits Technology) Lab을 운영하고 있다. 

아날로그/혼성신호 집적회로 설계 기술을 기반으로 마이크로시스템을 융합하는 연구와 마이크로시스템을 통해 의료기기, 웨어러블 기기, 사물인터넷 기기들을 구현하는 연구를 수행 중이다. KAIST, NYUAD 등 국내외 유수의 기관들과 활발한 공동연구를 수행하고 있으며 현재까지 총 20편의 SCIE급 국제학술지에 게재하였으며, 24편의 논문을 국제학술대회에서 발표하였다.  SCIE급 국제학술지 Integration - the VLSI Journal, International Journal of Circuit Theory and Applications의 Associate Editor로 활동 중이다.  

Soon-Jae Kweon received a B.S. degree and a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, South Korea, in 2010 and 2018, respectively. After that, he worked as a postdoctoral associate at KAIST and New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD). Since March 2023, he has been an Assistant Professor with the School of Information, Communications, and Electronic Engineering at the Catholic University of Korea, leading the MERIT (Microelectronics based on Remarkable Integrated Circuits Technology) Lab.

His research aims at integrating microsystems based on analog/mixed-signal integrated circuit design technology and developing medical devices, wearable devices, and IoT devices through those microsystems. He is actively conducting joint research with leading domestic and international institutions such as KAIST and NYUAD. He has published 20 SCIE journals and presented 24 papers at international conferences. He is currently working as an Associate Editor of SCIE journals, Integration - the VLSI Journal and International Journal of Circuit Theory and Applications.
